Steve’s Story of the Foundation of Financial Stewardship

by | Nov 26, 2022

We care to ensure that your dollars go exactly where you’ve designated them! So much so, that we pass this intentionality down to our students. Let’s hear how our student Steve has been impacted by our Education Program’s pillar of Financial Stewardship!

“My name is Stephen Otieno Owino, and I am 25 years old. I can remember very well back in 2017 when I finished high school and had no hope of continuing my education due to lack of funding. With the support of Take Heart, I was able to join Zetech University where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, and I just celebrated graduating with distinction! The financial stewardship pillar of the Take Heart Education Program has built our community to be one of trust and honesty. The program has really been of great transformation to me at a personal level. I have learned the importance of financial budgeting, tracking, and accounting. I feel very advantageous being part of this program since each month I practice spending the money I am sent on the categories for which it has been allocated. It prepares me to be very responsible person in my life and career. I really appreciate Take Heart as a whole for bringing this pillar in the organization.”

Join us in reaching our #GivingTuesday goal of $6,000 by November 29th to impact more students like Steve! Donate Here!
