“Hello, my name is Ambrose, and I’m 25 years old. I joined Take Heart in 2018 shortly after I finished high school. With the qualifications to attend university, I was called to join Murang’a University of Technology to study Actuarial Science. This was exciting but discouraging because I had no financial support to further my education. That’s where Take Heart came through and gave me a lot of hope. The Take Heart Academic Excellence Program has been a cornerstone in ensuring I achieve my academic goals. The mentorship as well as their intentional follow up has ensured that I am always on the right path of my academic journey. Having the right study materials when I have needed them has ensured that I did not waste time in preparing for my exams. I am a proud product of the hard work and diligence of this program. I have been able to attain the best academic reward as a result of the proper mentorship from this team. Today I am graduating from our university having attained the top rank in our class. When I first saw my name at the top of the list I did not believe it! I had graduated from a very small high-school with very few resources, so this really is a dream come true! My sincere appreciation to our Take Heart Academic Excellence Program.”
