Take Heart is a group of women who desire to make a tangible difference in the lives of the widowed and orphaned around the globe. Our desire is to see their lives transformed – their desperation replaced with hope, and their plight exchanged for blessing. Clean water, sustainable-income projects, medical clinics, and quality education are a few of the goals we have established for this project. For the time being, our work is taking place in a small village northwest of Nairobi, Kenya.
If you are looking for a way to get involved in something bigger than yourself, this is a great place to start. You don’t have to travel to Kenya to make a difference, although doing so will forever change your worldview. Contact us to discover the opportunities this project may hold for you.
“At the end of life we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made, how many great things we have done. We will be judged by “I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless, and you took me in.” ― Mother Teresa
…We believe Mother Teresa believed and behaved the way she did because she firmly believed Jesus when he said that blessing comes from this:
35 For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36 I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me. I was in prison, and you visited me.’ – Matthew 25:35-36.
